What is air conditioning hose?
Air conditioning hose, also called A/C hose or A/C refrigerant line, is mainly used to transport gaseous and liquid refrigerants (such as R134a, R1234yf, etc.) in air conditioning systems in cars and refrigeration units. It usually connects multiple components such as compressor, condenser, evaporator, drying receiver, etc. in the air conditioning system to help achieve the refrigeration function of the air conditioning system and ensure its efficient operation.
These hoses are usually made of different types of high-quality rubber and reinforced with textile or steel wire braiding or spiral structures. Some types of automotive air conditioner hoses have barrier structures. They provide multiple layers of protection around the flowing refrigerant, thereby minimizing the risk of fluid penetration to ensure good performance under high temperature and pressure conditions.
The rated operating temperature range of our air conditioning hoses is -40℃ to 135℃. It has good high and low temperature resistance, aging resistance, weather resistance, and ozone resistance. The difference between Conditioner Hose Type C and Type E
The Type C and Type E rubber conditioner hoses are different from their construction. And Conditioner Hose Type E has 4-layer construction. The difference is the conditioner hose Type E does not have the inner CSM/IIR layer.
Type E conditioner hose can resist all these common types of refrigerant, including R404a, R134A, R12, 1234yf. However, conditioner hose Type C cannot transport petroleum-grade lubricants, thus if the car use R404a and R12 refrigerant, we can not choose Type C conditioner hose.
