Fuel Hose Manufacturer & Supplier—Bulk Fuel Line for Automotive & Industrial Applications
Fuel hoses are directly related to the safety, efficiency and reliability of equipment. Choosing the right fuel line hose can ensure smooth transmission of fuel (such as gasoline, diesel, ethanol, etc.), and can also effectively reduce operational risks and maintenance costs. This page will show you products about fuel line hoses to help you make wise purchasing decisions.
Our fuel hoses are produced with advanced technology. They are not only resistant to aging, wear and low permeability, but also meet strict safety, environmental protection and performance specifications. They can improve the reliability of equipment in harsh environments and extend the service life of the hoses.
Application areas of Fuel line Hose

Bulk Fuel Line for Automotive
- Automobile and transportation: automobile engines, trucks, construction machinery, motorcycles, marine equipment, etc.
- Industrial machinery and equipment: generator sets, hydraulic systems, air compressors, pump equipment, etc.
- Agricultural machinery: tractors, harvesters, etc.
- Petrochemicals: fuel transportation, oil processing, etc.
- Refueling equipment: The refueling hose is specially used to transport gasoline, biodiesel and other fuels, suitable for environments with aromatic content ≤60%, and has oil resistance and weather resistance.
Types of Fuel Hoses
Common fuel hoses can be divided into the following types according to the material:
Rubber fuel hose: suitable for general fuel transmission, with good flexibility and cost-effectiveness. Need to meet SAE characteristic standards, such as SAEJ30R6/R7.

Rubber fuel hose
Thermoplastic fuel hose: lightweight and wear-resistant, often used for light equipment or specific chemical transmission.
PTFE Fuel lined hose: excellent chemical resistance and high temperature resistance, suitable for corrosive media and high purity requirements.

PTFE Fuel lined hose
Metal braided hose: provides higher pressure resistance and high temperature resistance, suitable for extreme working conditions.

How to choose a suitable fuel hose?
The selection of a suitable fuel hose requires a comprehensive judgment based on the conveying medium, temperature, pressure and usage scenario.
Fuel type
Specify the type of fuel being transmitted.
- Conventional fuels such as gasoline/diesel: It is recommended to use oil-resistant rubber hoses (such as nitrile rubber NBR), which are suitable for environments between -30℃ and 120℃ and have low costs.
- Alcohol-containing fuels such as ethanol gasoline: Fluororubber is the first choice due to the stability of the C-F bond.
- Aviation fuel or highly corrosive oil products: Fluororubber (FKM) or hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) is required, which can withstand temperatures up to 150℃ and resist swelling.
Working pressure and temperature
Select the corresponding pressure-resistant and temperature-resistant hose according to the system pressure and ambient temperature.
- Conventional fuel hoses can be used in the range of -40℃ to 125℃. High-pressure scenarios require stainless steel wire braiding to enhance pressure-bearing capacity.
- Aviation fuel hoses must be resistant to high temperatures (such as 150℃) and anti-aging. Hydrogenated nitrile rubber or fluororubber is recommended.
Connectors and Installation
Choose threaded, flanged or ferrule connectors according to the equipment interface to ensure tightness. Ensure flow requirements and installation space.
Environmental conditions
Consider whether it is exposed to harsh environments such as ultraviolet rays, ozone, abrasion, vibration, etc.
Industry standards and certification requirements
Whether there are mandatory certification requirements based on the industry or project used.

FAQ
Can a fuel hose be used for diesel?
Fuel hoses can be used for diesel. Most fuel hoses are designed to transport gasoline, diesel and other fuels, but the aromatic content limit should be noted. For example, fuel hoses for gas pumps can transport fuels with an aromatic content of ≤60%, while some imported fuel hoses can also adapt to leaded or unleaded gasoline, biodiesel, etc.
What kind of hose is safe for gasoline?
The most recommended hoses for gasoline are SAE J30 R9 fuel hoses (NBR or FKM inner layer) or PTFE fuel hoses (for high-end or demanding scenarios)
How to tell if a fuel hose is bad?
To determine whether the fuel hose is damaged, you can ① observe whether there are cracks, bulges, oil leakage, aging, hardening or softening on the surface of the hose. ② Smelling the smell of fuel is also a sign of leakage; ③ At the same time, check whether the joints are loose or dripping. ④ Regularly check indicators such as fuel pressure and temperature. If there are abnormal fluctuations (such as pressure drop and temperature increase), it may indicate that the hose performance is declining.
If these problems are found, the hose should be replaced immediately to prevent fuel leakage from causing safety hazards.
How often do I need to replace my fuel hose?
Original fuel hose: Under normal use, it can generally be used for more than 5 years. If there is no aging, leakage or hardening, the use can be extended. If the car is in a high temperature and high load environment for a long time, it needs to be shortened to two years or replaced according to the actual aging situation.
Refitted fuel hoses, such as Teflon, stainless steel braided layers, etc., have a longer service life, but need to be checked regularly.
Can you use any rubber hose for fuel line?
In general, ordinary rubber hoses cannot be used as fuel hoses. Only rubber hoses designed specifically for fuel can be used. Such as SAEJ30R, R7, R9 standard fuel hoses.
Will a silicone hose hold up to gasoline?
In general, standard silicone hoses are not suitable for transporting gasoline. This is because the molecular structure of gasoline (and other petroleum-based fuels and oils) reacts with silicone, causing fuel leaks and other risks.
