Key features of hydraulic quick couplers
Easy to operate
Connection requires no additional tools, simplifying assembly and disassembly, and enabling quick connection and disconnection of hydraulic lines.
Excellent sealing
A check valve design effectively seals the hydraulic line when disconnected, preventing fluid loss and loss of oil pressure. Oil is prevented from leaking during assembly and disassembly, minimizing environmental pollution.
Easy to transport
Suitable for disassembling large equipment or tools for transport, allowing for quick assembly and use upon arrival.
Safe and reliable
Wide compatibility with ISO standards; select models feature a hydraulically controlled check valve and mechanical lock to prevent accidental disconnection during operation.

Materials and Manufacturing Advantages
To adapt to demanding working conditions such as high pressure and corrosion resistance, hydraulic quick connectors typically use high-strength steel as the main material, formed through high-precision turning and CNC machining. Their surfaces are treated with sophisticated processes to enhance wear resistance and corrosion resistance;
The internal sealing rings are made of oil-resistant and high-temperature-resistant synthetic rubber to ensure long-term use without aging.
During the manufacturing process, CNC turning technology ensures high precision of part dimensions, with errors controlled within 0.01mm, effectively reducing the risk of leakage during connection. These process improvements significantly enhance the reliability and service life of the connectors.

How to choose the right hydraulic quick coupling for your system?
1. Determine the hydraulic system’s operating pressure and flow rate
Different types of hydraulic quick connects have different maximum pressure capacities. The pressure range of the quick couplings must meet the requirements of the hydraulic system. The selected hydraulic quick coupling should be able to withstand the system’s maximum operating pressure, typically slightly higher than the system pressure.
The internal diameter (channel size) of the hydraulic quick connect should match the flow rate to ensure unrestricted flow.
2. Choose the appropriate connection type
Hydraulic quick-connect connectors have different interface types, with common types including NPT, BSP, JIC, and ORFS. Select the appropriate connection type based on the piping connection requirements of your hydraulic system.
NPT (National Pipe Thread): Applicable to the US market, commonly used in pneumatic or low-pressure systems.
BSP (British Standard Pipe): Applicable to the UK and other international markets.
JIC (Joint Industry Council): Applicable to high-pressure hydraulic systems, commonly used in the US.
ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal): Applicable to high-pressure hydraulic systems, providing enhanced sealing.
3. Determine the material of the hydraulic quick couplings
The material choice for a hydraulic quick connect directly impacts its corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and service life. Select the appropriate material based on the corrosive environment and operating conditions.
Carbon Steel: Suitable for general environments and relatively low cost, but less resistant to corrosion.
Stainless Steel: Suitable for wet, corrosive environments, such as marine environments and chemical processing.
Brass: Suitable for low-pressure systems, often used in water systems.
4. Consider the sealing method of hydraulic quick couplings
The sealing method of hydraulic quick couplings is crucial to preventing leaks. Common sealing methods include O-rings and spring seals. When choosing, consider the following:
O-ring seals: Suitable for low- to medium-pressure hydraulic systems, offering excellent sealing performance. They are not suitable for high-temperature, corrosive environments.
Spring Seals: Suitable for high-pressure systems, providing improved leak protection.
5. Determine the Connection Method
Hydraulic quick-connect couplings primarily come in two types: manual and automatic.
Manual coupling: Requires manual operation to connect and disconnect. Suitable for applications with low pressure or infrequent connections.
Automatic coupling: Requires no manual operation and connects quickly. It is often used in applications with frequent connections and disconnections.
6. Choose the right quick-connect type
There are several types of hydraulic quick-connects, each suitable for different scenarios. Common types include:
ISO 7241-A/B series: The most commonly used standards, applicable to general industrial equipment.
Flat Face Couplings: Suitable for applications requiring low leakage and a clean environment.
Screw-to-Connect: Commonly used in heavy-load and high-vibration environments.
Push-and-pull hydraulic quick couplings have a pushing or pulling mechanism. Commonly used in agricultural machinery and construction equipment, they offer ease of use and reliability.
Double shut-off hydraulic quick couplings are designed with two shut-off valves to prevent fluid leakage when the coupling is disconnected.
We can manufacture all of these types. If you have special requirements, please contact us for large-scale custom production.
7. Temperature and Environmental Adaptability
Hydraulic quick couplers of different materials and designs perform differently in high and low temperature environments. Ensure that the selected quick coupler can function properly in the target environment.
For high-temperature environments: Select high-temperature-resistant materials and seals, such as stainless steel and special high-temperature O-rings.
For low-temperature environments: Select hydraulic quick couplers suitable for low-temperature operation to ensure that sealing is not affected.
8. Consider the frequency of use of the hydraulic system
If the hydraulic system requires frequent connection and disconnection, it is recommended to select hydraulic quick couplers that are durable and easy to connect and disconnect.
