Nylon tube, also known as polyamide tubing (PA hose). It is extruded from different types of nylon materials. The most common available in sheet, rod, and tube are Nylon 6 and Nylon 6/6. Nylon is the first synthetic fiber in the world.
Due to wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, chemical resistance, high-temperature-resistant, and high-strength material, nylon tubes are widely used in many industries, including machinery, automobiles, industrial automation, petrochemicals, etc.
Nylon tubing has many characteristics: lighter weight, greater flexibility and a smaller bend radius. Therefore, nylon tubes are widely used in the automobile, electrical equipment, mechanical components, transportation equipment, textile, paper machinery, etc. The excellent features of nylon tube make its application also very wide.
As a nylon tube supplier, we use high-quality PA raw materials and advanced production equipment to customize nylon tubes according to customer needs. The nylon tube produced has excellent UV and heat resistance, making it less likely to crack even when used in the sun for a long time. Each nylon tubing can meet high-standard quality requirements and meet the use requirements under various complex working conditions.
Features of Nylon Tube
It can withstand corrosion from many chemicals which makes it a good choice in areas where exposure to certain chemicals is a possibility.
Nylon tubing is resistant to wear and stretch, it is also more corrosion resistant than other types of pneumatic hose. It has a long service life.
PA hose has good temperature resistance, can work in the environment of -40 – 121 °C. It is a common nylon heat resistant tubing.
The resistance is extremely large and can be used as an insulator.
It has a lighter weight and tough wall, smaller bend radius, is easy to install without any special tools, can work in tight spaces flexibly.
Nylon Tubing Size
The size range of Nylon tubing that can be produced is also very wide, with outer diameters ranging from 4mm to 22mm. PA6 has higher strength and the working pressure can reach up to 6.7Mpa.

What is nylon tubing used for?
Nylon tubes can withstand high pressure and high temperature, and are used to transport various liquids and gases such as oil, water, gas, and chemical solutions. They are often used in the industrial and chemical industries because of their good insulation properties and are also often used to protect wires and cables.
Which is better, PU tube or nylon tube?
Nylon tube and PU tube each have their own advantages, and choosing which one is better depends on the specific application and needs. But in some specific cases, nylon performs better than PU in some aspects.
In terms of temperature resistance, nylon tubes have better milk powder performance, up to 120°C, and the operating temperature of PU tubes is between -40 °C and 90 °C.
For wear resistance, nylon is a very durable material with high strength and toughness. Nylon tubing is able to maintain its performance and stability in a variety of environments, so if you need a long-term durable material, nylon is a good choice. Compared with nylon, PU hoses may be slightly inferior in durability and wear resistance. In certain specific environments, such as high temperature or high humidity environments, the performance of PU tubes may also be affected.
But the elasticity and softness of PU tubes are better than PA tubes, and the price is lower than PA tubes.
What is the difference between PTFE and nylon tubes?
Temperature resistance: The temperature resistance range of nylon tube is -40℃ to 121℃, while the temperature resistance range of PTFE tube is -100℃ to 260℃. PTFE hose has better temperature resistance.
Pressure resistance: The pressure resistance of nylon tube is 1- 6.7 MPa, while the pressure resistance of PTFE tube is 5.8-28 MPa. In extreme environments, PTFE hose can withstand higher pressure.
Corrosion resistance: Nylon tube is less corrosive to various organic acids, oils, and alkalis, but has strong corrosiveness to strong oxidizing acids; PTFE hose has strong corrosion resistance and can withstand the erosion of strong acids and strong alkalis.
Application range
Nylon tube: Widely used in hydraulic transmission systems, automotive fuel systems, general industrial hose and air conditioning systems, mainly used to transport high-pressure gases and liquids.
PTFE hose: Suitable for the transportation of various chemicals, solvents, hydrocarbons and high-purity liquids. It is also used in temperature control devices, electronic appliances, boosters and automobiles.
How much pressure can nylon tubing hold?
PA6 has higher strength and the working pressure can reach up to 6.7 MPa, about 1000 psi.
The difference between PA12 and PA6
Both PA12 and PA6 are nylons with excellent mechanical properties and wear resistance. They are all polyamide polymers in basic chemical structure, but the structure and composition of the molecular chain are different. Nylon 12 has a lower density, is transparent or translucent, and has a lower water absorption rate than PA6, which is beneficial to material stability.
PA12 has higher impact strength and toughness than PA6. It has good elasticity and impact resistance, making it perform better in certain application scenarios. PA6 is known for its excellent strength and hardness.
Due to different performance, the two also have different focuses in application fields. PA12 is widely used in the automotive, electronics, electrical and construction industries because it can handle shock and vibration in complex environments. Due to its excellent strength and rigidity, PA6 is widely used in mechanical parts and high-strength products.
