Free samples can be provided, and matching hose fittings can also be provided. Welcome to consult with customers for large quantities.
Oil Hose Structure
Our oil hose adopts a multi-layer structure to ensure safety and durability.
- The inner tube is made of oil-resistant rubber, which can transport oil media for a long time and is not easy to swell or dissolve.
- The reinforcement layer uses high-strength steel wire or textile layer, which can withstand high-pressure liquid transportation.
- The outer layer is wear-resistant rubber or textile cover or stainless steel braided oil hose. The smooth surface or wrapped surface can be customized according to the needs. Available in red, yellow, blue or other custom colors. It is resistant to ozone and weather, has a long service life, and is suitable for harsh working conditions.

FAQs about Oil Line Hoses
What is an oil hose?
Oil hoses are pipes used to transport oily liquids. They typically feature an oil-resistant rubber or resin lining and a heat-resistant outer layer to prevent degradation from solvents and oxygen in the oil. They are primarily used in automotive fuel transportation, hydraulic systems, and construction machinery, for example in automotive fuel lines and hydraulic brake systems.
What type of hose can be used for oil?
Hoses that can be used to transport oil must be made of oil-resistant materials. Common types include
oil-resistant hoses (usually made of nitrile rubber)
cloth-reinforced oil hoses
chemical composite hoses
stainless steel braided hoses
Do cars have oil hoses?
Yes, cars have fuel lines. These lines in a car’s fuel system are primarily used to transport fuel from the tank to the engine and are typically made of pressure- and corrosion-resistant materials like rubber, polyurethane, or plastic.
Can an air hose be used for oil?
Air hoses are generally not suitable for oil transportation, primarily due to material oil resistance and maintenance considerations. Material incompatibility: Air hoses are often made of PVC or PU, which have poor oil resistance. Oil can cause them to swell, soften, or even crack. Oil monkeys used in oil-intolerant air hoses can corrode the inner wall, leading to leaks.
Shortened lifespan: Oil accelerates hose degradation, resulting in a much shorter service life than dedicated oil-resistant hoses. This significantly increases maintenance costs.
For oil transportation, it is recommended to use specialized oil-resistant rubber hoses or hydraulic hoses.
Is PVC hose good for oil?
PVC hoses are generally not suitable for transporting oil, especially corrosive or high-temperature oils. While PVC hoses can tolerate some liquids to a certain extent, they lack excellent oil and high-temperature resistance. Long-term use can cause the pipes to age, crack, or deform, affecting the safety and reliability of the oil transportation system.
Is fuel hose acceptable to use with oil?
Yes. Fuel hoses are specially designed to transport oil media such as gasoline, diesel, and engine oil. They are generally made of oil-resistant rubber (such as NBR) or a composite layer structure to resist corrosion and swelling caused by oil.
How long do oil hoses last?
Rubber hoses (such as NBR nitrile rubber) are oil-resistant but easily age, with a lifespan of typically 3-5 years.
Thermoplastic hoses (such as TPU) are highly corrosion-resistant and have a lifespan of 5-8 years.
Metal hoses (stainless steel braid) are high-pressure-resistant and have a lifespan of approximately 8-10 years, but are more expensive.
Can oil hoses be repaired?
Whether a ruptured oil hose needs to be repaired needs to be judged based on the specific situation. Under low-pressure conditions, small damage can be repaired, but temporary repairs are only suitable for emergency situations and long-term use still requires replacement.
Are oil hoses resistant to chemicals?
The chemical resistance of oil pipes varies significantly depending on the material. Not all oil pipes are chemical resistant. Stainless steel braided oil hoses are chemical resistant, but some rubber oil hoses are not chemical resistant.
How to choose the right size oil hose?
The selection of oil line hose size needs to comprehensively consider factors such as working pressure, flow rate, material and usage scenario.
How do l store oil hoses?
Choose a suitable storage environment: The storage environment should be dry, cool, and clean, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Suitable temperature: The storage temperature should be maintained between -15°C and +40°C, away from heat and ignition sources.
Storage method: Store the hose in a relaxed state whenever possible, avoiding excessive bending or stretching.
