Application of polyurethane hose
Polyurethane hoses are widely used in general air pressure pipes and cooling water hoses. Pneumatic hoses are used for air hoses inside control panels, pneumatic machinery, vacuum machinery, etc. In addition, it can also be used as pipes for assembly equipment, semiconductor processing equipment, equipment in the field of physics and chemistry, and drones spraying pesticides. It is easy to process.

PU hose application
What is polyurethane tubing?
Polyurethane tubes are made of polyurethane, a type of polymer containing urethane-type repeating structural units in the macromolecular chain. The full name is polyurethane, abbreviated as PU or PUR. PU can be divided into two categories: elastomers and foam plastics. In the past, foam plastics have always been the main type. At present, the development speed of elastomers is very rapid and their uses are becoming more and more extensive. Polyurethane tubing has high pressure resistance and flexibility, and are easy to operate. They are widely used in industry, and the main fluids used are air and water. Colors and sizes can be customized.
Types of Polyurethane Tubing
Pressure resistant polyurethane tube: Pressure-resistant urethane tubing is tubing that improves pressure resistance by reinforcing the urethane resin. It is used as conduit and hose for liquids that require high pressure resistance.
Wear-resistant polyurethane tube: Abrasion-resistant polyurethane tube is a kind of tube made of polyurethane resin with abrasion resistance.
Heat-resistant polyurethane tube: Heat-resistant polyurethane tubing is a type of tubing made from heat-resistant polyurethane resin.

The difference between PU tube and TPU tube
PU hose is made of polyurethane as the main production material, TPU tube is made of TPU as the main production material. The full name of TPU is thermoplastic polyurethane, which is an (AB) n-type block linear polymer. A is a high molecular weight (1000- 6000) polyester or polyether, B is a diol containing 2-12 linear carbon atoms, and the chemical structure between AB segments is connected by diisocyanate, usually MDI.
Thermoplastic polyurethane is crosslinked through intermolecular hydrogen bonding or mild crosslinking between large molecular chains. With increasing or decreasing temperature, these two crosslinking structures have reversibility. In the molten or solution state, the intermolecular forces weaken, but after cooling or solvent evaporation, there are strong intermolecular forces connecting together, restoring the original solid properties.
Polyurethane thermoplastic elastomers are divided into two types: polyester type and polyether type. Water attacks ester-based polyurethane, causing a significant decrease in its physical properties. Ether-based polyurethane exhibits superior hydrolytic stability, and the hydrolytic stability of polyether-based polyurethane is far greater than that of polyester-based polyester in humid environments.
The outstanding features of TPU tubes are good wear resistance, good ozone resistance, high hardness, high strength, good elasticity, low temperature resistance, and good oil resistance, chemical resistance and environmental resistance.
