SAE 100 R7 hydraulic hose is suitable for petroleum and water based hydraulic fluids and is a low pressure hydraulic hose. It consists of three parts: tube, reinforcement and cover. The tube is made of thermoplastic, which is non-conductive material. The reinforcement may be a synthetic yarn braid or a steel wire braid. SAE 100 R7 hose has the following types:
Hydraulic Hose SAE 100 R7 (one textile braided)
Standard textile-reinforced thermoplastic hydraulic hoses are lightweight and affordable. With good wear resistance, corrosion resistance and UV resistance, it is generally used in medium and low pressure applications.
Hydraulic Hose SAE 100 R7 (steel wire)
Wire braid reinforced thermoplastic hydraulic hose achieves higher pressure bearing capacity and mechanical strength, and is suitable for hydraulic systems in high pressure or harsh environments.
Non-conductive Hydraulic Hose SAE 100 R7
A medium pressure hydraulic hose specially designed for high safety requirements. It uses modified inner tube materials or adds conductive wires to achieve static discharge function to ensure safety when conveying flammable hydraulic media.
