Product Advantages
- High Pressure Resistance: The stainless steel braided layer significantly enhances the hose’s structural integrity and compressive strength, enabling it to withstand high fuel pressures (such as those found in turbocharged or high-flow fuel injection systems).
- Superior Heat Resistance: Stainless steel is capable of withstanding temperatures as high as 400°C, while the synthetic rubber component maintains thermal stability up to approximately 120°C; consequently, the hose exhibits excellent overall resistance to high temperatures.
- Adaptability to Harsh Environments: The stainless steel braided exterior offers exceptional resistance to corrosion and oxidation, ensuring the hose remains highly adaptable and resilient across a wide range of environmental conditions.
- Exceptional Durability: The stainless steel braiding protects the hose against abrasion and enhances its resistance to aging. Furthermore, the braided structure restricts the radial expansion of the inner rubber layer, thereby bolstering the hose’s safety, extending its service life, and ensuring superior long-term durability.
Compatible Media
It is applied to circulating diesel, bio-diesel, hydraulic oil, machinery oil and lubricating oil etc or the oil products.
Application Scenarios
In the industrial sector, these piping systems are suitable for applications in industries such as chemicals and petroleum.
Within petroleum pipelines, they are capable of withstanding high pressures and harsh operating environments, thereby ensuring the safe transport of oil.
In the field of mechanical manufacturing, stainless steel braided hoses can be utilized in both hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
In hydraulic systems, they are designed to withstand high pressures and convey hydraulic fluid, thereby ensuring the proper operation of mechanical equipment.
In the automotive manufacturing sector, stainless steel braided hoses find application in vehicle braking systems, fuel systems, and other components. In braking systems, they withstand high pressures to ensure the proper transmission of brake fluid, thereby safeguarding driving safety; in fuel systems, they convey fuel while resisting the corrosive effects of the fuel itself.
Common Braided Fuel Hoses
Textile braided fuel hoses feature an inner layer of oil-resistant rubber and an outer layer of braided fibers—typically nylon. Characterized by their low cost, light weight, flexibility, and ease of installation, they are commonly utilized in standard automotive fuel systems; however, they have a limited service life, typically lasting around five years.
Stainless steel PTFE hoses represent a high-end category of hose also used in fuel systems. Comprising an inner PTFE layer and an outer stainless steel braid, they offer exceptional chemical resistance—capable of withstanding virtually all types of fuel—as well as high-temperature resistance and a long service life. However, they suffer from relatively poor flexibility, making installation difficult, and are characterized by high cost and significant weight.

PTFE lined Hose
Stainless steel-braided rubber fuel hoses feature an inner layer of oil-resistant synthetic rubber encased in an outer stainless steel braid. These hoses are capable of withstanding not only high pressure but also abrasion and high temperatures. Being more abrasion-resistant than standard rubber hoses, they effectively combine the advantages of the two aforementioned types: they reduce weight and cost while simultaneously enhancing flexibility. As an upgraded version of the fuel hose, they enjoy widespread popularity in the market.
Reinforced Rubber Fuel Hose: This hose consists of three layers; both the inner and outer layers are composed of oil-resistant synthetic rubber, while the intermediate layer features braided fiber or steel wire reinforcement to enhance the hose’s pressure resistance. However, the pressure resistance of this type of hose remains limited.
Thermoplastic fuel hoses (R7/R8) feature inner and outer layers constructed from thermoplastic materials, reinforced by an intermediate braided layer of fibers or steel wire. Lightweight, highly safe, and possessing excellent pressure resistance, these hoses are ideal for installation in space-constrained environments—and are particularly well-suited for applications involving combined hydraulic and fuel systems.
Composite Fuel Hose are constructed from multiple layers of bonded materials, offering exceptional corrosion resistance and pressure-bearing capabilities. Featuring a large diameter, they are capable of conveying a wide variety of fuels and are commonly utilized in tanker trucks and marine applications.

How to Choose the Right Fuel Hose?
When selecting a fuel hose for a fuel line, the following factors should be taken into consideration:
1. Consider Pressure: For low-pressure applications, opt for rubber or fiber-braided hoses. For high-pressure applications, a stainless steel braided hose is the preferred choice.
2. Consider the Fuel Type: If the fuel being conveyed is standard gasoline or diesel, a hose with a rubber inner lining is suitable. However, if the fuel contains ethanol or is corrosive, a PTFE (Teflon) hose with stainless steel braiding is the optimal choice.
3. Consider Temperature: For conveying fuel at ambient temperatures within a standard environment, a rubber hose is appropriate. However, if temperatures exceed 100°C, a PTFE hose is recommended.
4. Consider Installation Requirements: If installation space is limited—requiring a hose with high flexibility—or if weight reduction is a priority, a nylon-braided fuel hose is recommended. Conversely, if the installation environment involves a high risk of abrasion, select a stainless steel braided fuel hose.
5. Consider Service Life: If you plan to upgrade your system in the near future and wish to minimize current costs for hose replacement, a standard rubber fuel hose is a practical choice. However, if you require a long-term solution designed for durability and longevity, a stainless steel braided fuel hose is the superior option.
