What is Tank Truck Oil Hose
Tank truck hose is a pipe system used for loading and unloading on tank trucks, the tank truck hose is a key component to convey oil, gasoline and other petroleum products for tank truck, terminal loading, and in-plant applications.

Tank Truck Hose Application

Tanker trucks are used for both unloading and loading fuel: during unloading, finished petroleum products—such as gasoline, diesel, and kerosene—are transferred from the vehicle’s tank into the underground storage tanks at a gas station; conversely, at refineries or fuel depots, finished products are loaded from large-scale storage tanks into the tanker trucks.
Important Considerations:
Not Suitable for Engine Compartments: This hose is designed for external loading and unloading operations. Although it is oil-resistant and weather-resistant, it is generally not suitable for use as a fuel line within a vehicle’s engine compartment.
Not Suitable for Fuel Dispensers: It cannot serve as a direct replacement for the hose attached to a gas station’s fueling nozzle (fueling gun). This is due to differences in product standards and intended application environments.

How to Choose tank truck oil hoses？
The following points need to be considered in the material selection of tanker delivery hoses:
1. High strength and wear resistance. Tank truck delivery hoses need to withstand the pressure of fuel and the wear during the delivery process, so they must have high strength and wear resistance. In terms of material selection, high-strength synthetic fibers or steel wires are usually used as the skeleton to ensure that the delivery hose is not easily damaged during long-term use.
2. Oil resistance and aging resistance. Fuel is corrosive, and the material of the delivery hose is required to have excellent oil resistance. In addition, the delivery hose needs to be used outdoors for a long time, so anti-aging performance is also very important. At present, the common tanker delivery hoses on the market are made of polyurethane, chloroprene rubber and other materials, which have good oil resistance and aging resistance.
3. Good sealing performance. The sealing performance of the tanker delivery hose is directly related to the safe delivery of fuel. In terms of material selection, materials with excellent sealing performance should be used, such as silicone, fluororubber, etc.
